In Die Walküre family ties are tested to the utmost. Brünnhilde, the Valkyrie of the title follows her heart defying her father Wotan. As punishment he send his favorite child to a fiery imprisonment. The pervasive lust for power inevitably leads to corruption. A potent mix of jealousy and greed, twisted and hypocritical loyalties, filial disobedience and filicide and incest is taxing for all concerned! The opulent score features The Ride of the Valkyries, The Magic Fire music &
Winterstürme Siegmund’s spring awakening and love for his sister Sieglinde.
